Collection: Base Set
The Pokémon Base Set, known in Japan as “Expansion Pack,” is the inaugural main expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game. It was first released in Japan on October 20, 1996, and later in English on January 9, 1999. The Base Set introduces Generation I Pokémon, featuring iconic creatures from the Pokémon Red, Blue, and Green games.
