Collection: Jungle

The Pokémon Jungle set, released on June 16, 1999, was the second expansion of the Pokémon Trading Card Game and the first to expand beyond the original Base Set, introducing 64 cards that brought many previously absent Kanto Pokémon into the TCG for the first time. Notable for being the first set to feature holographic cards, Jungle also debuted fan favorites like Snorlax, Kangaskhan, and the Eeveelutions (Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon), making it a cornerstone for collectors and players alike. It featured a unique structure with both holo and non-holo versions of the same cards, included the highly sought-after 1st Edition stamp, and is known for several intriguing misprints, such as the Base Set artwork on 1st Edition Electrode and the rare "Ivy Pikachu" promo error. Accompanied by theme decks Power Reserve and Water Blast, Jungle remains a nostalgic and valuable set, celebrated for its impact on the game’s evolution and its role in completing the original Pokédex.
