Dark Gyarados Holo 8/82 Pokémon Team Rocket Raw

Dark Gyarados #8/82 is a Water-type Stage 1 Pokémon card from the Team Rocket expansion, released in April 2000 by Wizards of the Coast. Illustrated by Kagemaru Himeno, it evolves from Magikarp and has 70 HP with a Retreat Cost of 2. Its abilities include the Pokémon Power Final Beam, which deals 20 damage for each Water Energy attached to it (on a coin flip) to the Pokémon that knocked it out, and the attack Ice Beam, which deals 30 damage and may paralyze the Defending Pokémon on a successful flip.

This Holo Rare card was released in both 1st Edition and Unlimited prints, with the 1st Edition version being more valuable due to its scarcity. It was originally included as a prerelease promo for the Team Rocket set and later reprinted in the Celebrations expansion’s Classic Collection with a 25th Anniversary logo. If heads, this power does 20 damage for each Water Energy attached to Dark Gyarados to the Pokémon that Knocked Out Dark Gyarados. Apply Weakness and Resistance. This power doesn't work if Dark Gyarados is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed.
