Collection: Rising Rivals

Rising Rivals is the second expansion in the Platinum series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released on May 20, 2009. The 120-card set (111 regular, 3 secret, 6 secret holographic) focuses on the Gym Leaders and Elite Four of the Sinnoh region, featuring Pokémon SP cards that represent Pokémon owned by specific trainers. It introduces Pokémon Prime, a new card type with powerful abilities marked by a red star, and highlights Rotom in its multiple forms as secret holographic cards, while continuing the use of Pokémon LV.X and the Lost Zone mechanic.
