Collection: XY

The Pokémon TCG: XY Base Set, released on February 5, 2014, is the first expansion in the XY series and marks the beginning of Generation VI in the Pokémon Trading Card Game. This 146-card set introduces the Kalos region and brings major gameplay innovations, including the debut of the Fairy type and the Mega Evolution mechanic, allowing Pokémon like Charizard and Mewtwo to evolve into more powerful forms during battle. Featuring six new Pokémon-EX, including Xerneas-EX and Yveltal-EX, the set also launched with two theme decks—Resilient Life and Destruction Rush—and includes code cards for Pokémon TCG Online.
