Collection: Expedition Base Set

Pokémon TCG: Expedition Base Set is the first main expansion of the e-Card Series, released in English on September 15, 2002. The 165-card set introduced the Dot Code technology, allowing players to scan cards using the Nintendo e-Reader for minigames, Pokédex data, and hidden attacks (not legal in tournaments). It debuted Technical Machine cards, split Pokémon Powers into Poké-Powers and Poké-Bodies, and was the first non-reprint English set to feature reverse holo cards for all rarities. The set also marked the introduction of Supporter cards and a redesigned card layout without flavor text or Pokédex entries.
