Pokémon TCG: XY—BREAKthrough is the eighth expansion in the XY series, released on November 4, 2015. The 164-card set (162 regular, 2 secret rares) introduces the BREAK Evolution mechanic, allowing players to place a BREAK Pokémon on top of a corresponding basic Pokémon to gain enhanced attacks while retaining the original's abilities. Focused on Mega Mewtwo Y-EX, the set features Pokémon from all regions and includes powerful cards like Mewtwo-EX and Zoroark BREAK, alongside key Trainer cards such as Judge and Giovanni's Plan.
