Great Encounters is the fourth expansion in the Diamond & Pearl series of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, released on February 13, 2008. The 106-card set features Generation IV Pokémon from the Sinnoh region, including fan favorites like Dialga, Palkia, Darkrai, Cresselia, and Blaziken, many appearing as powerful Pokémon LV.X cards. It introduces new Trainer cards such as Professor Elm’s Training Method, Poké Turn, and Poké Blower, enhancing gameplay strategy, and marks the debut of Ghost-type Pokémon like Drifloon and Dusknoir in the TCG.
