It was initially released on October 11, 2014 in Japan, and later in November and January for Australia, New Zealand, and Europe, respectively. With a more stable and immersive 3D technology, new controls like the C-Stick and 3D depth slider, amiibo support, faster processing power, and face tracking 3D, this console offers an enhanced and precise gaming experience. It is also compatible with all Nintendo 3DS and DS games, with some exclusive to the New Nintendo 3DS such as Minecraft: New Nintendo 3DS Edition
