Guitar Hero World Tour is a 2008 rhythm game developed by Neversoft and published by Activision. As the fourth main installment and sixth overall installment in the Guitar Hero series, it was released in North America in October 2008 for the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Wii, and Xbox 360. This game is specially designed for the PS3 console and includes a guitar-shaped controller that accurately replicates the experience of playing rock music. For an enhanced experience, there are also separate drum and microphone controllers for percussion and vocals. Additionally, users have the option to create their own songs through the "Music Studio" mode and share them with others using the "GHTunes" service.
