Halo 3: ODST is a first-person shooter game that was developed by Bungie and published by Microsoft Game Studios in September 2009. Acting as "Orbital Drop Shock Troopers" or ODSTs, players take on the role of United Nations Space Command Marines during and after the events of Halo 2. The game's campaign mode is set in New Mombasa, a ruined city that players must navigate in search of their missing teammates in the midst of an alien invasion. With a new perspective and gameplay similar to Halo 3, the focus is on combat and exploration.
