The first expansion for Guild Wars 2, titled Heart of Thorns, introduces the Heart of Maguuma region, a sprawling jungle filled with new maps, events, and storylines. Players can explore four new maps, including a jungle and ancient ruins, while participating in new events and storylines. Additionally, there are three new raids to challenge with other skilled players, and a new achievement group to track progress and earn rewards. The story centers around the Mordremoth, a powerful and malevolent force that must be defeated by players in order to restore balance to the region. With various gameplay experiences including exploration, combat, and raids, Guild Wars 2: Heart of Thorns offers an immersive and challenging MMORPG experience.
