The set includes one exclusive minifigure, the Iron Drone (Devastator), and stands over 5 inches (13 cm) tall, making it a classic infantry unit for the robot army.

In terms of play features, the Sentry is highly poseable, with legs that can rotate 180 degrees and shoulder joints that allow its arms to cross over its body or swing to the back. The robot's design emphasizes frontline combat, with its missile flukes consisting of dark grey parts with neon yellow tips, matching other sets in the line. It can be rebuilt into an alternative model called the Cannon Sentry, offering additional play value.
