Virtual Hydlide is a 3D recreation of the original 1984 action RPG Hydlide, released exclusively for the Sega Saturn in 1995. This installment, the second in the Hydlide series for a Sega platform, features updated graphics and gameplay. Players can explore a 3D world, engage in real-time battles, and experience the unique "Virtual" element, where the game's worlds are randomly generated. With 20 different level layouts for each of the seven dungeons and the overworld, there are over 25.6 billion possible combinations to discover. However, some critics have noted poor AI and rendering issues, occasionally resulting in low FPS.
