Zombie Revenge is a beat 'em up video game released for arcades and Dreamcast in 1999. Armed with their fists, feet, and whatever weapons they should find along the way, players are tasked with ridding an unnamed city of zombies. Originally titled Blood Bullet: The House of the Dead Side Story, the game was renamed Zombies Nightmare before Sega decided on the name Zombie Revenge. This game serves as a spin-off to Sega's popular The House of the Dead series of light gun games and contains numerous references to its parent series. A port of the game for the PlayStation 2 was to be released by Acclaim Entertainment and ported by Acclaim Studios Teesside, but was eventually canceled.

Zombie Revenge allows players to choose among a cast of three unique characters as they tear their way through the game across six challenging stages to stop the ultimate evil from being unleashed. It takes both firepower and fist-power to wipe out the ultimate army: a legion of hideous killer zombies that pack a gruesome punch. A top-secret government plan to turn the dead into a deadly fighting force has fallen into sinister hands. You must lead a team of special agents and rescue a city under siege by this relentless army of "recyclable" soldiers. The game features a third-person camera view, which is a change from The House of the Dead's first-person viewpoint. It also offers an original mode that features a few small differences, including the option to play with powered-up guns or in bare knuckles mode (without the aid of handguns).
